TEK Military Seating, as you would expect, design and manufacture many of its products to conform to international standards of safety and protection - typically most seats are pull/impact tested to confirm their conformity to international standards ECE 14 - M1, M2, or M3, ECE 16 and ECE 17, this is particularly important when many ProTEK® seats have been designed for integrated harness restraints.

More defence focused testing includes vibration, durability, environmental and life cycle performance, which are often tailored to the customers’ requirements. Blast protected seating is initially tested utilising drop testing to STANAG 4569 , which is often augmented with live blast testing by customers on the vehicle to which they are fitted to achieve whole vehicle certification to the STANAG level required.

Our blast attenuation seats conform to Stanag 4569, all testing is conducted by Internationally accredited independent testing houses.
